What else is there to say but thank you? Over a 30 day period Clara and the Below has managed to raise $443,652 from nearly 6000 backers.
We have secured complete funding for three episodes and good chunk of episode 04.
A month ago, the night before this campaign launched I was in bed staring at the ceiling writing a "flop speech" in my head.
"Well, I tried my best." "Can't blame a guy for taking a swing." "Maybe no one will remember this lol."
Well thanks to your support, I can tackle this project with my head held high, confident that when all else fails, there's passionate and generous fans out there who are looking to support risk-taking animation and storytelling.
So what happens now? Now we get to work. Episode 01 is coming out this December so we will hit the ground running. Look here for monthly updates on our progress. We will do our best to share behind the scenes information and artwork without spoiling major story elements.
